Georgia’s Yoga Journey

Georgia began her yoga journey in 2014. After a sceptical start, she discovered that yoga resonated with her in a way that she really hadn’t expected! After experiencing the many physical and emotional benefits of yoga, she decided to deepen her practice by completing her YTT200 in 2016. She travelled to Darjeeling in India and completed her training overlooking the Himalayas. She studied Chanting, Mantra, Meditation, Pranayama, Sivinanda Hatha, Ashtanga Style, Vinyasa Flow, alongside yogic philosophy.

Georgia mostly teaches Hatha and Vinyasa style classes, and always welcomes beginners. Her cheerful, easy-going nature infuses her classes with a sense of light-hearted fun, and she loves creating new sequences to keep her classes varied and interesting for her students.

She is a big believer in her students being comfortable during her classes; yoga shouldn’t be stressful! She knows and respects that every person’s body is different and has been through a different journey before it lands on the mat. In her class, students will be encouraged to let their breath to guide them through the poses, helping them to relax and find ease in tricky postures. She helps you to discover your boundaries safely, through proper alignment and listening to your body. You will leave her class feeling lighter, brighter and more serene!

Georgia has been consistently teaching yoga since 2016 for a range of clients including The Tara Building, Yogapal, JLL, Citibank and Ben Dunne Gyms. She is currently enjoying teaching community classes through the CDETB, mostly based around the South inner city. From time to time, Georgia takes on private clients, either through zoom or in person. Get in touch if you would like to learn
